The Galaxy Above You
The Galaxy Above You is an interactive, immersive and personal experience of traveling the galaxy world. The audience explores the relationship between themselves and the galaxy in an isolated space. The visual is generated by using various hand gestures. Each hand gesture triggers different conditions of stars movements. Circular motion generates star storm; swiping makes shooting stars, et cetera.. A Leap Motion sensor is rigged above the audience to capture the gestures inside a triangular tent. The audience then sees the visual moving above their heads. Collaborators: Cristian Gomez (Technical Direction) and Chuck Gloria (Music Composition).
